Hey everybody. I told you that I had a special photo story to present to you and here it is. I tried to add a bit of humor into this post. I present to you “Life of an AG doll photographer”.
Hey everyone! It's Harper here and today, I am going to show you what it is like to be a non-professional AG photographer even though I do dream of becoming one someday.
Every day, I bring my mini doll Naomi outside to take pictures. I definitely will get another doll soon but for now, I live off of my one doll and tons of props. I love to find little items for Naomi.
Sometimes Coconut joins me.
Coconut helps me out. When she does, I give her a treat.
But even though she is a great helper, Coconut is still a puppy and likes to play (:
And sometimes, she jumps around and tries to get my attention more than she helps but I don't mind.
Once Coconut is tired out, I set up.
This is what my hair looks like when I first start taking pictures and after I take a few so I always come prepared.
Ahhhh much better (:
I look around to find the perfect spot
And I put on my glasses.
Once my glasses are on and my hair is up, I begin.
I set up my doll in a very simple position first and I add detail as I move along.
The doll is ready and standing in the perfect position so I go to get my camera.
By the time I have my camera into focus and at the perfect angle…
The doll falls to the ground and my picture looks like this.
(the irony XD)
And after that happens 5 more times, I put the doll into a sitting position.
And I run to my camera so nothing can go wrong. Sometimes I trip XD. Did I mention i'm kind of clumsy?
Once I take a few different pictures from various angles, I grab the props.
And set up some more.
Is everything okay?
Perfect.
Now just a few more pictures.
Now to look over the pictures.
Its not as fun when you do it alone.
Here we go. Now we're done.
Well, almost done. Time to edit but that's another story.
Thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed (:
